In private practice, every holiday means a pay cut. So, what can you do to plan for breaks in a sustainable manner?
Explore the emotions that come up for you that make it difficult to take a break, pauses are important!
Make a personalised holiday calendar for yourself.
Set your fee such that it accommodates holidays listed in your calendar.
Keep aside funds for emergencies that can lead to unforeseen breaks.
