⚖️ How can you make your website?

So, you’ve given a thought to whether you need a website and what purpose it can serve for you. How do you go about making one?

There are three paths to this, each requiring varying amounts of time, effort and cost. Depending on your goal and resource constraints, you can consider-

  • Outsourcing:

If you are short on time and have a budget, you can outsource the project to a website designer. You will still need to write the content. If you have a higher budget, you can outsource content as well, and your involvement will be restricted to giving directions and reviewing. Some agencies now offer this service for therapists specifically and are cognizant of our specific requirements.

Downside: Anytime you want to make changes, you will need to reach out to the agency/person for support.

  • DIY:

Appropriate for you if you have some time in hand, are familiar with Canva and do not want to spend on outsourcing.

Tools such a Wix and SquareSpace are like Canva but for designing websites. A website is more complex than a small graphic so the features will take slightly longer to get used to. Plus point is that there is no dependency on others for making changes.

  • DIY AI Website

If you want a quick, low effort, free-of-cost website, use AI tools such as Lovable, Bolt or Replit. They give you a daily free credits- in order to be judicious with these, first go to GPT/Claude/Gemini and take its help to write and refine a prompt for Lovable.

Here, also consider what quality of website do you require. If you need high quality and don’t have sharp design or writing/prompting skills, consider outsourcing
